Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State has returned back to the country from London.

Mr Tinubu, according to Sahara Reporters, quietly returned Friday evening, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu welcoming his predecessor back home.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain who reportedly landed at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos was said to have shunned a fanfare organised in his favour.

“Tinubu has quietly returned tonight,” a source, the news medium quoted, hinted. “He returned quietly but can’t stand the rigours of a physical rally.”

The recuperating politician has been away from the country since July when he was flown out for a knee surgery which was successful.- advertisement –https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-3172371258570439&output=html&h=300&slotname=3765471803&adk=1171983474&adf=1471523746&pi=t.ma~as.3765471803&w=360&lmt=1633728021&rafmt=1&psa=1&format=360×300&url=https%3A%2F%2Ftodaypoliticsng.com%2Ftinubu-quietly-returns-to-nigeria-after-knee-surgery%2F&flash=0&fwr=1&fwrattr=true&rpe=1&resp_fmts=3&sfro=1&wgl=1&dt=1633728021117&bpp=14&bdt=1099&idt=765&shv=r20211005&mjsv=m202110040101&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&cookie=ID%3D54d3b24db715fb5a-223008fb7dcc00c5%3AT%3D1633725334%3ART%3D1633725334%3AS%3DALNI_MbRwZCoh9zoOI1za9vGM74eef8edw&prev_fmts=0x0%2C320x50%2C360x300&nras=1&correlator=4350301689834&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=1403346365.1633722255&ga_sid=1633728022&ga_hid=1021784344&ga_fc=0&u_tz=60&u_his=1&u_h=800&u_w=360&u_ah=800&u_aw=360&u_cd=24&adx=0&ady=1764&biw=360&bih=668&scr_x=0&scr_y=0&oid=2&pvsid=1679574978007693&pem=321&eae=0&fc=1920&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C360%2C0%2C360%2C668%2C360%2C668&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7CeEbr%7C&abl=CS&pfx=0&fu=128&bc=31&ifi=4&uci=a!4&btvi=2&fsb=1&xpc=b6ts2lR9Bd&p=https%3A//todaypoliticsng.com&dtd=845

While he was away, rumors of his death filtered in, a speculation which prompted politician, including President Muhammadu Buhari to visit him at his London abode.
